The Events feature is the heart of Meetley. Every day, hosts in your city post events — pub quizzes, morning runs, photography walks, open mics, cooking workshops, board game nights. You browse, you see who's going, and you show up.

Open The Map and see every event, meetup, and gathering plotted in real time around you. Tap any pin to learn more. Zoom out to explore a new neighborhood. It transforms your city from a place you live in to a place you explore.
Connections — real world first, then digital
On Meetley, you don't add strangers online and hope to meet someday. You meet people in real life first. After attending the same event, you can connect digitally — chat, plan the next meetup, or just stay in touch. The app follows the friendship; it doesn't create a substitute for one.
Safety built in, not bolted on
Every host on Meetley is verified. Every event is reviewed. We have a dedicated safety team available 24/7 and a clear reporting system. We take safety more seriously than any other metric because without trust, nothing else matters.

Why we built this
Loneliness is one of the defining challenges of our time. People have hundreds of online connections and nobody to call on a Friday night. We think that's backwards, and we think technology can help fix it — if it's designed around real life instead of against it.
Meetley is our answer. We're a small team who care deeply about building something that genuinely improves people's lives. We measure success by friendships formed, not time spent in the app.
