1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Meetley. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts found to belong to minors.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your profile.
• One account per person — creating multiple accounts is not permitted.
• You may not transfer your account to another person.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Meetley to:

• Harass, bully, stalk, or threaten other users
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Impersonate another person or organisation
• Share illegal content of any kind
• Spam other users with unsolicited messages or promotions
• Use the platform for commercial solicitation without authorisation
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform
• Create fake events or trips to deceive other users

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban.

4. Events and trips

When you create an event or trip on Meetley, you take responsibility for its accuracy, safety, and execution. Meetley is a platform that connects people — we are not responsible for what happens at events or trips organised by users.

• Event creators must provide accurate details about the activity, location, and cost.
• Attendees must respect the rules set by event creators.
• Meetley may remove events or trips that violate these terms at any time.
• Repeated no-shows or cancellations may result in account restrictions.

5. Content you post

You own the content you post on Meetley. By posting, you grant Meetley a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your content within the app. You agree not to post:

• Nudity or sexually explicit material
• Content that promotes violence, discrimination, or hate
• Content that infringes on someone else's copyright or intellectual property
• Personal information of other users without their consent

6. Ratings and reviews

Ratings and reviews submitted on Meetley must be honest and based on genuine experience. We reserve the right to remove ratings that are fake, abusive, or otherwise violate our community standards.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. Meetley may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your access to the platform will be revoked and your data will be deleted within 30 days.

8. Limitation of liability

Meetley is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, interactions with other users, or attendance at events. Always exercise personal judgement and follow our Safety Tips when meeting new people.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
